Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has expanded its product lineup with the launch of the all-new CB125 Hornet and Shine 100 DX in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The CB125 Hornet is priced at Rs. 1,12,000 (introductory, ex-showroom Chennai), while the Shine 100 DX is priced at Rs. 76,809 (ex-showroom Chennai).
Targeting next-generation riders, the Honda CB125 Hornet embodies the brand’s youthful spirit with its theme ‘Ride Your Rizz.’ The motorcycle features an aggressive street-style design, available in four colour options. Key highlights include golden USD front forks (first-in-segment), an all-LED lighting system, and a 4.2-inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync Bluetooth connectivity for navigation, calls, and SMS alerts. Other features include a USB Type-C charging port, 240mm petal disc with single-channel ABS, and class-leading acceleration of 0 to 60 km/h in just 5.4 seconds. Power comes from a 123.94cc OBD2B-compliant engine producing 8.2 kW and 11.2 Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
Carrying forward Honda’s iconic commuter legacy, the Shine 100 DX arrives with refreshed styling under the tagline ‘Solid Hai.’ It sports a newly designed headlamp with chrome accents, sculpted fuel tank, stylish body graphics, and all-black engine and grab rail with a chrome muffler cover. Offered in four colours, the Shine 100 DX comes equipped with a digital LCD cluster displaying real-time mileage, distance-to-empty, and service reminders. It is powered by a 98.98cc fuel-injected engine with eSP (Enhanced Smart Power) technology, delivering 5.43 kW and 8.04 Nm, paired with a 4-speed gearbox.
