Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has introduced a small price revision for select models in its India portfolio. The increase applies to Toyota cars developed under its partnership with Maruti Suzuki, essentially the rebadged offerings that share platforms and powertrains with Maruti models. This move comes after earlier price corrections in the market and reflects routine cost updates rather than any major product change.

Toyota Glanza

The Glanza, Toyota’s premium hatchback based on the Maruti Baleno, has become costlier by up to Rs 15,800. It remains the most accessible model in Toyota’s India range. Buyers can choose between petrol and CNG versions. Current ex-showroom prices span roughly from Rs 6.46 lakh to Rs 9.44 lakh, depending on variant and fuel type. The Glanza continues to target urban buyers looking for a feature-rich, fuel-efficient hatchback with Toyota’s brand backing.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor

The Urban Cruiser Taisor, derived from the Maruti Fronx, has received a price hike of up to Rs 16,400. Positioned as a compact crossover with SUV-inspired styling, the Taisor is offered with petrol and CNG powertrains. Its ex-showroom pricing now ranges from about Rs 7.25 lakh to Rs 12.39 lakh. With its coupe-like design and multiple engine options, the Taisor plays in the fast-growing sub-4m crossover space.

Toyota Rumion

Toyota’s three-row MPV, the Rumion, which is based on the Maruti Ertiga, is now pricier by up to Rs 16,400. Available in both petrol and CNG forms, the Rumion is aimed at families seeking practicality and efficiency. The updated ex-showroom price band sits between approximately Rs 10.51 lakh and Rs 13.86 lakh. Its spacious cabin and proven reliability keep it relevant in the MPV segment.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder

The Urban Cruiser Hyryder has seen the biggest revision among these models, with an increase of up to Rs 21,000. Sharing its underpinnings with the Maruti Grand Vitara, the Hyryder is offered in petrol, CNG, and strong-hybrid variants. Ex-showroom prices now range from around Rs 10.99 lakh to Rs 20.19 lakh. The strong-hybrid option, in particular, has been a key draw for buyers prioritizing fuel efficiency.

Broader Toyota line-up in India

Outside these Maruti-derived models, Toyota continues to sell a diverse portfolio in India. This includes the Innova Crysta, Innova Hycross, Hilux, Fortuner, Camry, Vellfire, and Land Cruiser 300. These models cover MPVs, lifestyle pickups, premium SUVs, and luxury hybrids, helping Toyota maintain a strong presence from mass premium to high-end segments.

Overall, the latest hike is relatively modest and limited to specific models. There are no mechanical or feature updates linked to these revisions. For customers, the changes mainly reflect incremental cost adjustments while the core value proposition of each model remains the same.
