VinFast has announced a major expansion of its global aftersales and service network by signing Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with 29 international aftersales partners during its 2026 Global Business Conference held from May 4 to May 10 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The event marked the first time more than 200 investors and partners associated with VinFast gathered together from regions including North America, Europe, the Middle East, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Kazakhstan. The conference represents a significant milestone in the company’s strategy to strengthen its global EV ecosystem and customer support infrastructure.
Under the newly signed agreements, VinFast’s international partners are expected to establish EV service workshops that meet the company’s global operational standards in their respective markets. The automaker stated that it will ensure service consistency through standardized technician training, certification programs, operating procedures, quality control systems, and a spare parts supply network designed to deliver common components within 24 hours in key global markets.
According to VinFast, the expansion forms part of its broader long-term strategy to build a complete electric mobility ecosystem that includes aftersales services, charging infrastructure, and customer support. The company believes this approach will accelerate EV adoption while improving the ownership experience for customers worldwide.
By the end of 2025, VinFast had already established nearly 400 service workshops in Vietnam, contributing to a global network of almost 800 facilities. Building on this foundation, the company now aims to expand its worldwide service network to more than 1,100 workshops during 2026 across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
The expanded network will operate through multiple business models, including retail dealerships, fleet-focused service centers, transportation business support hubs, and third-party local workshop partnerships.
Commenting on the development, Bui Viet Hung said the company’s objective is not just to increase the number of workshops but to create a customer-centric aftersales ecosystem that delivers responsive and reliable service globally while bringing Vietnam’s “five-star service culture” to international markets.
Alongside its aftersales growth, VinFast is also working on expanding global EV charging infrastructure through partnerships with V-Green and regional charging operators. Through these collaborations, the company plans to develop a global charging network of more than 1.5 million charging ports to support seamless EV ownership experiences.
