Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. has achieved a major milestone with the all-new Tata Sierra as the SUV crosses 1,00,000 bookings across India. The strong response from customers highlights the continued appeal of the iconic Sierra nameplate and its positioning as a premium mid-size SUV in the Indian market.
To celebrate the achievement, Tata Motors organised a large-scale customer delivery event in Ahmedabad, where 101 units of the new Sierra were handed over to customers in a single day. The event marked one of the biggest delivery milestones for the SUV since its launch and showcased the growing demand for the model.
Several dealership partners participated in the milestone event, including Progressive Cars Private Limited, Infinity Vehicles Private Limited, SP Cars, Cargo Motors Ahmedabad Private Limited, Supernova Motors Private Limited and Riya Autolink. The dealerships came together to organise the delivery ceremony, turning it into a celebratory occasion for customers who received the keys to their new Sierra.
The milestone also reflects the strong brand equity that the Sierra nameplate enjoys in India. First introduced in the 1990s, the Sierra became one of the most recognisable SUVs in the country and played an important role in shaping India’s early SUV market.
