Coming soon to India, the Maruti XL7 MPV, priced between ₹12.00 – ₹13.00 Lakh, launching November 2024, featuring petrol variants to rival Maruti Ertiga, KIA Carens, and Maruti XL6.
The XL6’s distant counterpart, the XL7, is tailored to accommodate an extra passenger with subtle adjustments in dimensions and features compared to its predecessor.
The Indonesian model boasts dimensions of 4,450mm in length, 1,775mm in width, 1,710mm in height, and a wheelbase stretching 2,470mm. It is anticipated to feature a ground clearance ranging between 195mm to 200mm.
The newly launched Suzuki XL7 in Indonesia shares the same 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine as the India-spec XL6. This engine delivers 105PS of power and 138Nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
The upcoming XL7 is expected to feature an array of amenities including an 8-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, an IRVM with rear camera display, a foldable armrest, ventilated front seats, cruise control, height-adjustable driver seat, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), hill-hold assist, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
