Royal Enfield continues to charge ahead with its ambitious expansion, and the latest development promises to excite performance bike lovers. Spotted once again on test, the upcoming Royal Enfield Continental GT-R 750 reveals new design cues and mechanical updates—bringing the legendary brand into the fully-faired motorcycle space for the first time in production.
The GT-R 750 will be the first motorcycle to debut Royal Enfield’s brand-new 750cc parallel-twin engine. This engine is expected to be an evolution of the current 648cc unit seen on the Interceptor and Continental GT 650, likely offering more performance and refinement. The engine is believed to have undergone boring to increase displacement, and this new powertrain is expected to later power other upcoming RE models.
Inspired by the Continental GT-R 650 race bikes used in the Royal Enfield GT Cup, this new machine brings a proper faired design for the streets. The sporty aesthetics and aggressive riding position indicate that RE is targeting serious enthusiasts with this model.
Earlier mules had emissions testing equipment strapped to the exhaust, but the latest units don’t carry any such kit. This suggests that emissions compliance testing has concluded, and Royal Enfield is likely in the final performance tuning and validation phase.
While the company hasn’t officially confirmed the launch, the advanced stage of testing points to a possible debut in early 2026. Once launched, the GT-R 750 will sit above the current 650 twins and may become Royal Enfield’s flagship road-going performance motorcycle.
