Chennai, – VinFast Auto India has inaugurated its largest showroom in the country, located in the prime locality of Teynampet, Chennai. Spread across 4,700 sq. ft, the new outlet is the biggest among the 35 showrooms the company plans to open in 2025, marking a major milestone in VinFast’s aggressive retail expansion across India’s electric vehicle market.
Operated in partnership with Maansarovar Motors, a well-known name in Chennai’s automotive retail space, the facility will serve as a premium touchpoint for customers. The showroom will display VinFast’s VF 6 and VF 7 premium electric SUVs, offering an integrated brand experience and sales support.
Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, highlighted the strategic importance of the launch:
“Chennai’s ecosystem of innovation, skilled talent, and strong infrastructure makes it the perfect location for VinFast’s largest dealership in India. Through this facility, we aim to bring our sustainable, technology-driven mobility solutions closer to customers in Tamil Nadu while redefining the EV ownership journey.”
VinFast officially began pre-bookings for VF 6 and VF 7 on July 15, 2025, with a fully refundable booking amount of ₹21,000. Customers can reserve their vehicles at showrooms or through the company’s website, VinFastAuto.in.
As part of its India strategy, VinFast is also building a nationwide EV ecosystem. It has partnered with RoadGrid, myTVS, and Global Assure to expand charging and after-sales services, while collaborating with BatX Energies to promote battery recycling and develop a sustainable battery value chain.
With Chennai’s showroom launch, VinFast reinforces its commitment to making EVs more accessible and building a future-ready, greener India.
