Kia India has launched two new trims of the Carens Clavis EV – HTX E and HTX E [ER] – priced at ₹19.99 lakh and ₹21.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric MPV now comes in six variants with two battery options offering up to 490 km range.
Kia India has kicked off the festive season with an exciting expansion to its all-electric Carens Clavis EV lineup, launching the HTX E and HTX E [ER] trims priced at ₹19.99 lakh and ₹21.99 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.
With these new additions, the Carens Clavis EV family now comprises six variants, providing Indian buyers a wider range of choices in the premium electric MPV segment.
The HTX E trim is powered by a 42 kWh battery pack, while the HTX E [ER] gets a larger 51.4 kWh pack, offering greater driving range. Positioned between the HTK+ and HTX trims, both new variants come loaded with several premium features.

Inside, the cabin boasts leatherette seats, multi-color mood lighting with footwell illumination, an air purifier with virus protection, and seat back folding tables, blending luxury and practicality.
Under the hood, the Carens Clavis EV is powered by 99 kW and 126 kW electric motors generating 255 Nm of torque. The 42 kWh version offers a range of 404 km, while the extended-range 51.4 kWh variant delivers up to 490 km on a single charge.
Both variants support fast charging from 10% to 80% in just 39 minutes, making them suitable for both city commutes and long journeys.
The Carens Clavis EV is equipped with 18 advanced safety features, including six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist Control (HAC), and Vehicle Stability Management (VSM).
A standout feature is the 67.62 cm (26.62-inch) dual panoramic display, offering a premium infotainment experience along with 90 connected car features for smarter, safer, and more connected drives.
