NEW DELHI, January 16, 2026: Kia India has expanded the Syros SUV range with the introduction of a new HTK(EX) variant, aimed at offering more features and greater value at a competitive price point. With this addition, the Syros line-up now comprises seven trims, giving customers wider choice across petrol and diesel powertrains.
The newly introduced HTK(EX) variant is priced at ₹9.89 lakh (ex-showroom) for the petrol version, while the diesel variant is priced at ₹10.63 lakh (ex-showroom). Kia says the expansion is driven by customer feedback and changing market preferences, with a focus on delivering enhanced value without compromising on comfort, safety, or technology.
Commenting on the launch, Atul Sood, Senior Vice President and National Head – Sales and Marketing, Kia India, said that customer insights continue to play a key role in Kia’s product strategy. He added that the HTK(EX) trim has been introduced to make the Syros more accessible while retaining the brand’s expected standards of quality, features, and design.
Positioned above the HTK(O) trim, the HTK(EX) brings several visual upgrades, including LED daytime running lamps, LED headlamps and tail-lamps, along with R16 alloy wheels. These additions enhance the SUV’s road presence and overall styling.
Inside the cabin, the new variant offers a range of comfort and convenience features such as an electric sunroof, flush-type door handles, a 31.2 cm touchscreen infotainment system, electrically adjustable and foldable outside rear-view mirrors, and a rear parking camera with sensors.
Safety remains a strong focus for the Syros range. The HTK(EX) trim comes equipped with over 20 safety features, including six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Management, and other active and passive safety systems.
Kia has also introduced the HTK(EX) variant with a diesel engine option, further expanding choice for buyers looking for higher fuel efficiency and torque.
Built on Kia’s reinforced K1 platform, the Syros offers a spacious cabin, comfortable seating for all occupants, and class-leading boot space. Designed under Kia’s “Opposites United” philosophy, the SUV combines bold styling with functional practicality. With a 5-star BNCAP safety rating, the Syros continues to position itself as one of the safer family-oriented SUVs in its segment.
With the addition of the HTK(EX) trim, Kia India continues to refine the Syros portfolio, aligning its offerings closely with customer expectations while strengthening its value proposition in the competitive compact SUV market.
