Hyundai Venue crosses 1 lakh bookings; new HX8 Diesel AT variant launched at ₹13.69 lakh

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced that the all-new Hyundai Venue has crossed the milestone of 1 lakh bookings in India. To celebrate the achievement and strengthen its compact SUV lineup, the company has also introduced a new HX8 Diesel Automatic (AT) variant priced at ₹13,69,900 (ex-showroom).

The new HX8 Diesel AT variant aims to offer greater convenience and performance for customers looking for a diesel automatic compact SUV. It is powered by Hyundai’s proven U2 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The combination is designed to deliver strong torque, refined driving performance and effortless mobility, while also enhancing the overall appeal of the Venue for customers seeking a comfortable and technology-driven driving experience.

The HX8 Diesel AT variant adds several comfort, safety and convenience features, including front ventilated seats, dual-tone leatherette upholstery with Venue branding, and an electric 4-way adjustable driver seat. The SUV also comes equipped with Hyundai’s connected car technology through Bluelink, along with Controller Over-the-Air (OTA) vehicle updates.

Additional features include an electric parking brake with auto hold, rear disc brakes, ambient lighting on the crash pad and central console, paddle shifters, and multiple drive modes such as Eco, Normal and Sport. The variant also offers traction control modes for different terrains including Sand, Mud and Snow.

Commenting on the milestone, Tarun Garg, Managing Director and CEO of Hyundai Motor India Limited, said the company is delighted that the new Venue has crossed 1 lakh bookings, reflecting strong customer trust in the brand. He added that the introduction of the HX8 Diesel Automatic variant strengthens the Venue lineup by combining diesel efficiency, torque-rich performance and automatic convenience.

According to him, the new variant aligns with Hyundai’s strategy to offer smart, connected and feature-rich mobility solutions that match evolving customer expectations in India.

With Hyundai’s extensive sales and service network across the country, the Venue continues to position itself as a feature-rich and technology-focused compact SUV.
