Tata Motors Introduces More Affordable Quad Wheel Drive Variant of Harrier.ev at ₹26.49 Lakh

Tata Motors’ electric vehicle division, TATA.ev, has introduced a new variant of the Harrier.ev, making its advanced Quad Wheel Drive technology more accessible to customers. The company has launched the Fearless+ QWD 75 persona, priced at ₹26.49 lakh (ex-showroom), bringing dual-motor performance to a wider audience.

The Harrier.ev is built on Tata’s acti.ev+ pure electric architecture and is positioned as one of the most powerful homegrown electric SUVs in India. The newly introduced variant produces an impressive 504 Nm of torque and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds, delivering performance comparable to high-performance SUVs.

The dual-motor Quad Wheel Drive system provides improved traction and stability across different driving conditions. To further enhance off-road capability, the SUV is equipped with six terrain modes, along with features such as Off-Road Assist and Boost Mode. These technologies enable the vehicle to handle diverse terrains and real-world road conditions with greater confidence.

Apart from performance, the Harrier.ev Fearless+ QWD 75 offers a wide range of comfort and technology features. The SUV comes with a 6-way powered driver seat with memory function, a 4-way powered co-driver seat, and ventilated front seats. It also features a 360-degree camera, JBL Black 10-speaker audio system, 19-inch alloy wheels, and voice-assisted dual-zone fully automatic climate control. Additional highlights include ambient lighting, rear-seat comfort headrests, and rear window sunshades.

For added peace of mind, Tata Motors is offering an unlimited lifetime battery warranty for the first owner, defined as a period of up to 15 years from the vehicle’s registration date. The Harrier.ev has also received a 5-star Bharat-NCAP safety rating, reinforcing Tata Motors’ focus on occupant safety.

Commenting on the introduction of the new variant, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, said the Harrier.ev has already seen strong customer interest. The SUV has recorded more than 13,000 deliveries within six months of launch, collectively covering over 100 million kilometres across India. He added that introducing the Quad Wheel Drive technology in the Fearless persona will help bring performance-focused electric SUVs to a larger set of customers.

The Harrier.ev is now available in seven different personas with prices starting from ₹21.49 lakh for the Adventure 65 variant and going up to ₹28.99 lakh for the Empowered 75 variant (all prices ex-showroom).

Along with the new variant, Tata Motors has also introduced a new exterior colour called Seaweed Green. This new shade will be available across all Harrier.ev personas, adding another option for buyers looking for a distinctive design choice.

With the addition of the Fearless+ QWD 75 variant, Tata Motors aims to strengthen the appeal of the Harrier.ev by combining high performance, advanced technology, and off-road capability while making dual-motor electric SUVs more attainable for Indian customers.
