Volkswagen India has introduced a special Virtus Anniversary Edition to celebrate four successful years of the Virtus in the Indian market. Based on the GT Plus Sport variant, the limited-edition model brings exclusive cosmetic upgrades while retaining the powerful 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine.
The biggest highlight of the Anniversary Edition is the introduction of an all-new Avocado Pearl exterior shade, paired with a contrasting black roof and black alloy wheels, giving the sedan a more premium and sporty appearance.
Priced at ₹19.19 lakh (ex-showroom), the Virtus Anniversary Edition will be available in limited numbers across Volkswagen dealerships in India.
Under the hood, the special edition continues to be powered by Volkswagen’s 1.5-litre TSI EVO turbo-petrol engine, producing 150 PS and 250 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission, offering the same performance-oriented driving experience that the Virtus GT is known for.

Speaking on the occasion, Nitin Kohli, Brand Director, Volkswagen India, said that the Virtus has earned strong customer appreciation for its design, performance, and German engineering. He added that the Anniversary Edition, especially with the exclusive Avocado Pearl colour, further enhances the desirability of the sedan.
