New Delhi, March 1, 2026: Kia India has reported its best-ever February sales performance with total wholesales of 27,610 units. The company registered a 10.3% year-on-year growth compared to 25,026 units sold in February 2025, marking the second consecutive month of double-digit growth for the brand.

The growth has been driven by strong demand across Kia’s SUV and MPV portfolio. The Kia Seltos continues to witness strong customer response, supported by its refreshed design, advanced technology, and improved safety features. Meanwhile, the Kia Sonet maintained its momentum in the compact SUV segment, contributing significantly to the brand’s overall sales.

Kia’s family-oriented offerings also played an important role in the company’s strong performance. The Kia Carens Clavis continued to attract buyers with its spacious cabin, refined design, and comfort-focused features. In the electric mobility space, the Kia Carens Clavis EV is gradually gaining traction among customers seeking an accessible EV ownership experience.

At the premium end of the portfolio, the Kia Carnival strengthened the brand’s presence in the luxury MPV segment, reflecting growing consumer confidence in Kia’s premium offerings.

Mr. Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Kia India, said, “Our record February performance is a testimony to the growing trust of Indian consumers in the Kia brand. The strong response across our portfolio — including the All-New Seltos, Sonet and the Clavis line-up — highlights our well-thought-out strategy and our ability to adapt to evolving customer aspirations, including the shift toward electric mobility. We are not merely responding to market trends but shaping them through innovation, premium design, advanced technology, and a relentless focus on delivering customer value.”

Kia India attributes its continued growth to a balanced product strategy that combines progressive design, advanced safety technologies including ADAS, connected car features, and a premium ownership experience.

The company currently operates through 849 sales and service touchpoints across 382 cities in India. Its retail ecosystem is further supported by 122 Certified Pre-Owned outlets, enabling customers to buy, sell, and exchange vehicles with greater transparency and convenience.

With a strong start to 2026, Kia India aims to sustain its growth momentum while expanding its electric vehicle presence and continuing to introduce future-ready mobility solutions focused on innovation, safety, and premium design.
