Maruti Suzuki Opens 200th NEXA Studio, Expands Premium Retail Network in India

New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India Limited has expanded its premium retail network with the inauguration of its 200th NEXA Studio outlet, further strengthening the presence of its flagship premium sales channel, NEXA, across India.

The company said the milestone marks another step in its strategy to deliver a more premium and personalized car ownership experience, particularly in emerging and semi-urban markets.

According to the automaker, the NEXA network has been structured into two formats based on market potential and geography — full-fledged NEXA showrooms and smaller NEXA Studio outlets. Currently, the NEXA sales network includes more than 740 outlets spread across over 530 cities in India.

Speaking on the development, Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said that NEXA represents innovation, design and a premium ownership experience for customers.

He added that the rapid expansion of NEXA Studio outlets reflects the company’s commitment to making this premium experience accessible to aspirational customers in semi-urban areas, where demand for premium car buying experiences is steadily growing.

The 200th NEXA Studio outlet has been inaugurated in Kharkhoda, Haryana.

Takeuchi also expressed gratitude to dealer partners and customers for their continued trust and support, which has helped accelerate the growth of the NEXA brand. The company aims to expand the NEXA Studio network to 600 outlets by the end of FY2030-31.

Launched in July 2015, the NEXA channel was introduced to attract a new generation of customers by offering a differentiated and premium car buying experience. Within a year of its launch, Maruti Suzuki had already established 100 NEXA outlets across 94 cities.

In FY2024-25, NEXA contributed significantly to the company’s domestic performance, retailing over 5.4 lakh vehicles and accounting for nearly 30% of Maruti Suzuki’s total domestic sales.

Currently, Maruti Suzuki sells several premium models through the NEXA network including the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Maruti Suzuki XL6, Maruti Suzuki Ignis, Maruti Suzuki Jimny, Maruti Suzuki Invicto and the upcoming Maruti Suzuki e Vitara.

Introduced in August 2024, the NEXA Studio concept was designed to extend the premium NEXA experience to new geographies beyond major cities. These outlets offer a comprehensive ecosystem with sales, service and spare parts facilities under one roof, providing customers with a convenient and immersive ownership experience.
