The price of Toyota Rumion is 40 to 60 thousand Rupees more than Maruti Ertiga. The Toyota Rumion is the latest model to be launched among the products developed by Maruti Suzuki and Toyota together. Toyota Rumion MPV – Prices and Variants:
Toyota offers the Rumion MPV in S, G and V versions. The S variant is available with petrol and CNG options, while others are offered with petrol engines only. The S and V versions of Rumion are available with manual and automatic transmissions.
Prices start from 10.29 lakh rupees and go up to 13.68 lakh rupees.
For comparison: The prices of the different variants of the Maruti Ertiga are lower. Ertiga also enjoys a lower entry price of 8.64 lakh rupees, Ex- Showroom. If we compare the prices of Toyota Rumion vs. Maruti Ertiga than Toyota Rumion looks strikingly similar to that of Maruti Ertiga. But there are a few changes also in Rumion as compared to Ertiga. It received a new grille design with the Toyota logo and resembled that of the Innova Crysta. It also newly designed alloy wheels and a distinctive Toyota badge at the rear.
While the interior design remains the same. Rumion features all-black upholstery over the beige interior as seen on the Ertiga. As a 3-row, 8-seater minivan, it offers a flexible seating layout with plenty of headroom and legroom in all rows. Equipments inside cabin includes a similar 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a digital instrument cluster. There will also be keyless entry and an on/off button.
Safety features include multiple airbags, traction control, parking sensors, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), ISOFIX child seat mounts, and ABS and EBD. Toyota Rumion petrol engine is powered by the same naturally aspirated 1.5-litre K-Series petrol engine that powers the Ertiga. This engine delivers 103 hp and 138 Nm of torque when mated to a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission with torque converter. In CNG mode, power and torque are reduced.
