Built on the agile and robust Pure EV GEN 3 Architecture, it offers flexibility in design along with next-generation connectivity, advanced driver assistance systems, and improved performance and efficiency. Originating from India for global markets, this platform ensures high structural safety and features enhanced waterproofing and dust protection, designed to conquer diverse terrains effortlessly.
This architecture integrates next-gen materials, efficient electronics, and advanced energy management for optimal efficiency. Lightweight materials and an optimized EV-only powertrain structure minimize mass, while the battery enables ultra-fast charging for over 500 km in under 30 minutes, keeping pace with infrastructure advancements.
The Tata Avinya is expected to be priced between Rs. 30.00 lakh and Rs. 60.00 lakh, varying based on the selected variant. The Tata Avinya is anticipated to debut in 2025. BYD Atto 3 and the 2024 Hyundai Kona Electric are poised to be significant competitors to the Tata Avinya.
The Tata Avinya concept showcases prominent DRLs flanking the Tata logo at the center, with a body-colored bumper contrasted by black two-piece inserts resembling a grille. It features butterfly doors, cameras doubling as ORVMs, blacked-out B-pillars and roof for a floating roof design, large alloy wheels, LED taillights, and an LED light bar spanning the tailgate’s length. The dual-tone finish extends to the tailgate, complemented by a black diffuser on the bumper.
Inside, the Tata Avinya showcases a dual-tone beige and brown interior theme complemented by a panoramic sunroof. It is equipped with a two-spoke, flat-bottom steering wheel featuring a floating instrument console. The dashboard houses a soundbar positioned centrally, while speakers are mounted on the sides of the front seats for second-row passengers’ enjoyment. An aroma diffuser is elegantly placed on the center console, enhancing the interior ambiance.
The Tata Avinya is expected to be a 5-seater model, catering to comfort and practicality for passengers.
